This home was gorgeous!!! The backyard is truly an oasis! Lore is an amazing host, very accomodating. We celebrated a friend's upcoming wedding and this home was great fit us all perfectly. Beds super comfortable, kitchen was great for preparing meals, tons of places to hangout and lounge. Would highly recommend!
We stayed at the Dragonfly Treme for a long girls weekend and it was truly amazing. Every room is beautiful with each detail - from artwork to furniture - carefully curated to give the space a luxurious, historic (and sometimes gothic) feel. Through Instacart we had groceries delivered when we arrived, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we might need. We loved hanging out by the pool during the afternoons before heading into the French Quarter, which was a nice walk or quick Lyft ride away. Lore is a wonderful host and we would definitely come back again!
My family and I have stayed in dozens of airbnbs over the years and I don't know that we've ever had a more attentive and accommodating host than Lore. Her guest house was absolutely beautiful. That's exactly what we wanted for our stay, an historic home with the character and feel of old New Orleans, tastefully complimented by modern appointments, including a fully stocked kitchen, tons of extra towels, and blankets for lounging around the heated pool during our January stay. The neighborhood itself is undergoing a little bit of transition, but we never felt unsafe walking surrounding areas every day. We were less than a mile from the French quarter, whether we chose to walk or drive. She also provided helpful local recommendations for places to eat and things to do.
This is a beautiful place with a very gracious host! It is walking distance to bourbon street, and in the other direction to the Degas Museum. I could park my car right next to the house. My room had a balcony allowing me to enjoy the Nola nights! I would most definitely return to this charming b&b.
I had an awesome experience staying at the Dragonfly Treme for a weekend trip this past November. The hostess was absolutely lovely and super accommodating. I had a late check in and she went above and beyond even calling me a couple of times to ensure I was traveling safely to the location. The room was great with good amenities and a fantastic little balcony perfect for sipping espresso in the mornings. The location is unbeatable it is super close to everything in the French Quarter making it easy to explore. Plus I had no problem finding parking for my vehicle during my stay which is a huge bonus in this area! I will definitely be coming back next year! Highly recommend!
My women’s group, Hot Flashes & Hurricanes, hosted an event here on November 11th and we had the BEST time! The atmosphere is stunning — full of color, charm, and that unmistakable New Orleans vibe. The host was amazing, welcoming, and made everything flow effortlessly. Whether you’re planning a girls’ event, weekend getaway, or just want a beautiful place to stay — this spot is an absolute must. You’ll fall in love the second you walk in!
We celebrated my partners birthday this weekend at Dragonfly and it was so beautiful. The space has such amazing energy and a beautiful outdoor space with a gorgeous pool, with soulful chimes and relaxing greenery. The owner is super sweet, with such a love for New Orleans and its people and hospitality. Definitely already planned a few trips back for the future!! Thank you for having us!
